NEW YORK/SEVILLE—OCT. 17, 2019 – MTV today announced that Spanish indie rockers León Benavente will join Green Day for ‘MTV World Stage Seville’.   Closing out “MTV Music Week” at the city’s spectacular Plaza de España on Saturday, November 2nd, ‘MTV World Stage Seville’ leads into the ‘2019 MTV EMAs’, which will broadcast live on MTV on Sunday, November 3rd at 9:00pm CET from FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre in Seville, Spain.

Standing tickets for ‘MTV World Stage Seville’ will be available for purchase for only 10 Euros each from MTV EMA ticketing partner El Corte Inglés from today, Thursday 17 October, at 11:00 CET.

Releasing their eponymous album in 2013, León Benavente instantly became a key fixture on Spain’s leading festival lineups, quickly followed by a sellout Latin American tour.  The release of 2016 album ‘2’ saw a triumphant year-long tour across Spain, with third album ‘Vamos a Volvernos Locos’ already generating plaudits in the midst of the band’s whistle-stop tour of Spain, Portugal and Mexico.
